Surrey Region (SRY) Visit to Musical Museum, Brentford, Friday 7 September 2018

At our AGM earlier this year, there was general agreement that a visit to the Musical Museum in Brentford would make for an interesting outing. The Museum is a treasure trove of self-playing musical instruments, ranging from the tiniest of musical boxes to the mighty Wurlitzer organ.  The exhibits are on three floors, all easily accessible by lift.  We intend to join a guided tour which will enable us to experience the sounds and actions of the various instruments.  If we should number 20 or more, we will arrange a private tour.

After the tour, those who so wish can take a light lunch in the museum café which overlooks the river.  Anybody arriving early could also take coffee there.
